Entry 5

Today, Friday, May 8, 2010 I had a pretty good day compared to the last few days.  My mood was stable and it was a fairly productive day.  I slept a little later than usual, so didn't get up til 11 am, spent some time doing some biz and social networking online, made my grocery list, washed a load of clothes and took a shower.  I then cleaned myself up and later went to the grocery store, then came home and put away groceries and proceeded to make dinner.  I felt fairly stable and energized enough today to get all this done, although it did take a lot of talking myself into it at the beginning of my day.  Though it's easier to talk myself into things and get some things done right now than it is some weeks in the month, especially during my "womanly" time.  that is a very low time for me.  Extra hard, very depressing, very much a struggle.  That usually comes around the last week and a half of the month.

At any rate, right now I am functioning at a stable level, neither a depressive state nor hypo manic, but feels as though I'm into the hypo manic state somewhat.  Tomorrow, I work all day and likely will be into the hypo manic state full blown by then.  I can feel the creativity coming out more, my energy level coming up more, my mood stabilizing, but a little excited and anxious at the same time, so that's how I know the hypo mania is kicking in.  Of course, I tend to have some agitation and no patience when I have the excitement and anxious feelings too.  A good indication of hypomania is that I'm still writing and it's already after midnight!  I have to work in the morning and for six hours, so I need to get to bed, even though my mind is racing.  So I must turn to medication once again to slow down my thought process and to help me to fall asleep faster.  So for tonight, good night world.
