Entry 10

I've been busy the past few days with working promotional events.  It has been a tough, tough three days.  One day at a time I can manage, but three is difficult.  I made it through though.  That's the main thing.  The first day was good.  I felt fairly stable, not much anxiety either.  The second and third days were a little tough, especially the third day, it was the toughest of all.  I felt a bit on the depressed side, had some anxiety.  And yesterday, it didn't help that I had a terrible headache.  But again, I made it through, but certainly not without a lot of self-talk and relaxation techniques.  I made sure to take a relaxing lunch away from work for a full 30 minutes.  I had to do some breathing exercises a few times to relax as well.

All in all though I am proud of myself because I made it through.  I will say though, a three day work weekend is not something I want to repeat again anytime soon because I really don't think I could do it again.  I do have a couple of two day weekends coming up, but only two more weekends of that, so I'm doing a lot self-talk to prepare.  I have big motivating goals (need the money for several important things) I'm working towards and unless I make the extra money working, I can't meet those goals. (new transmission, new windshield & two women's conferences I want to attend).  So hopefully, lot's of rest, relaxation and positive self-talk over this week will prepare me for my upcoming two day work weekend.

Today, I'm still fighting this headache, but have a couple of blogs I need and want to write on, not to mention it's so therapeutic for me, so I think I am going to do that, then relax the rest of the day.  So until next time diary.
